Dua Lipa’s One-Shoulder Butterfly Top by Masha Popova 2021

Dua Lipa is making a strong case for the return of Y2K style, and her favorite fashion item of the era is certainly butterfly details. After sweeping the 2021 Grammy awards in a sparkly Versace butterfly dress, the Future Nostalgia singer has consistently been repping all things butterflies — including jewelry, homeware — and now, a one-shoulder crop top that had us scurrying to find the designer.

After a few hours of sleuthing on Instagram, we can confirm that Dua Lipa’s one-shoulder butterfly crop top is from emerging designer Masha Popova’s fall/winter 2021 collection “You Make Me Dizzy.” The piece is part of a Popova’s first official collection since graduating from Central Saint Martins. The Y2K-inspired collection features sequin butterfly crop tops, deconstructed acid-wash jeans, and sculpted rose details. Although fresh out of fashion school, Popova already has a dedicated celebrity following, including Bella Hadid, Billie Eilish, Jourdan Dunn, and Solange. Fancy a butterfly top of your own? Keep checking here for the latest on the launch of Masha Popova’s official e-shop.
