Kristen Stewart attended the premiere of Spencer at the 65th BFI London Film Festival on Thursday, Oct. 7, wearing a custom gray Chanel gown from the designer’s fall/winter 2018 collection. Kristen completed the look with Jimmy Choo sandals, steely-gray eye makeup, and a wavy undone lob, styled by Tara Swennen with hair by Adir Abergel.
Kristen’s custom gray Chanel column gown features intricate beaded embroidery with clusters of embroidery along the hemlines. The gown is inspired by a similar design, Look 22, from Chanel’s fall/winter 2018 collection, completed with the Jimmy Choo Minny silver-gray sandals that are now sold out. With the dress being so sparkly, Kristen decided to go very minimal with jewelry — just a few silver rings — paired with a very casual tousled hairstyle. Hairstylist Abergel told POPSUGAR that he “fell in love with the Chanel column dress” because it felt so reminiscent of ’90s glam. “For the look, I wanted to create reminiscent of that effortless style that so many celebrities wore during that time. That casual chic undone wave that almost looked like she styled it herself.”
