Chrishell Stause MTV Movie and TV Awards Outfit | Photos

Chrishell Stause’s outfit at the MTV Movie and TV Awards is the most glamorous a pair of trousers has ever looked. On Sunday, the “Selling Sunset” star walked the red carpet in a Grace Ling Vertebrae Bralette ($370) and matching Peek-Open Thigh Pants ($990), which boast a reverse thigh cutout draped in mesh. Stause styled the edgy look with Giuseppe Zanotti heeled sandals, VRAI earrings, and Raven Fine Jewelers rings.

The bikini-style top, previously worn by Jennifer Lopez and Karlie Kloss, features a vertebrae-inspired brass trim across the front, the perfect tie-in to her complementary Grace Ling Butt Bag ($890). The reflective shell-inspired bag, adorned with a silver snake chain, is just big enough to hold a tube of lipstick, a set of keys, and maybe even a few business cards should she decide to strike up a business deal in between award announcements.

Stause’s thigh cutout puts a bold spin on her “Selling Sunset” style, but it isn’t the first alluring piece we’ve seen celebrities wearing this award season. Between Chlöe’s hip cutout at the Billboard Music Awards, Megan Fox‘s plunging BBMAs gown, and Selena Gomez‘s “Saturday Night Live” after-party dress, the thigh-high slits are here to stay. Gracing an otherwise tailored pair of trousers, Stause’s cutout is definitely one of our new favorite takes on the style trend.
