A new teaser trailer for Better Call Saul’s final episodes highlights the show’s most iconic locations and includes new footage of Jimmy McGill.
AMC
The official trailer has arrived for Better Call Saul season 6B, the final batch of episodes that will premiere on July 11. There are just six episodes left of the Breaking Bad prequel series and fans were left with a tense cliffhanger ending at the conclusion of season 6A. How things will play out from here remains to be seen but the new trailer, though limited in new footage, teases what’s to come in the last episodes.
The teaser trailer tells fans to “remember the good times” and presents a variety of black-and-white shots highlighting the show’s most iconic locations, from the courthouse to Los Pollos Hermanos and the underground lab at the laundry. There is a brief snippet of footage at the end revealing Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) in his lavish closet where he’s suiting up as Saul Goodman. This scene appears to be set in the “future” during the Breaking Bad timeline when Jimmy lives in the mansion that’s seen getting cleared out at the beginning of season 6, so it’s still unclear how he and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) will deal with their current predicament with Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton).

“Remember the good times” could also refer to the show nearing its conclusion. Originally debuting in 2015, the series will be wrapping up its run after six seasons with these final six episodes. With no new shows set in the Breaking Bad universe currently in the works, this will leave fans without something new to look forward to for the first time since Breaking Bad started airing in 2008. Fans are anxious to see how the story ends but it’s bittersweet saying goodbye to the series and its many beloved characters.

Saul Goodman’s Story Will Be Concluded
AMC
Fans know that Jimmy McGill becomes the personal lawyer of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in Breaking Bad, so it’s clear that the character will survive his current predicament with Lalo. It’s a mystery as to what ultimately becomes of Jimmy, however. Flash-forward scenes have previously revealed Jimmy, now living as Cinnabon manager Gene, getting recognized by a cab driver from Albuquerque. He promises to fix the situation himself but fans have had to wait to see how it all plays out.
It’s also looking like viewers will have to get accustomed to a new actor in the role of Jeff, the cab driver who recognized Saul in Omaha. Previously played by Don Harvey, the character is shown in another teaser with a different actor in the role. While AMC has not officially commented on the recasting, the teaser seems to suggest that a different actor is playing Jeff in the final season. In any case, Jimmy’s reunion with Jeff is one of the biggest stories fans want to see the conclusion to. You can watch that trailer below, courtesy of AMC on YouTube.
The final episodes of Better Call Saul are just days away and will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on July 11, 2022.
