Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams finally tied the knot with a star-studded wedding ceremony at California’s Sunstone Winery on Saturday, Aug. 20. The 31-year-old “Modern Family” star originally planned to be wed in 2020 after a 2019 engagement but postponed her nuptials due to COVID.
Hyland ended up walking down the aisle in a white corseted gown with wispy, off-the-shoulder tulle sleeves and a full skirt that extended into a train behind her. The elegant design, with subtle pleating and delicate exposed clasps down the boned bodice, tapped into the romantic Regencycore trend.
Hyland chose a fingertip-length veil that cascaded down from the crown of her hair. She wore a a messy, low bun with loose pieces that framed her face and drew attention to a pair of diamond drop earrings. The bride also accessorized with a diamond tennis bracelet and went for a bronzed, glowy makeup look. Her peachy-pink-toned bouquet was decorated with a string of pearls.
The groom, Bachelor Nation star Adams, kept his suiting classic. The 38-year-old chose a black satin tie and complemented Hyland’s bouquet with a caramel-colored boutonniere.
The wedding was officiated by fellow “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who wore a splashy blue Paul Smith suit. Sofia Vergara also made an appearance in a black-and-white floral Bambah dress with a glittery Valentino purse and peep-toe platforms.
While these are only the first looks we’ve seen from the celebration, Hyland told People in July that she would wear multiple dresses for the event: “I’m going with more dresses than I originally planned. But my vision board is still intact,” she said. Watch this space for updates as the couple share more photos from their nuptials in the coming days.
