England Looking to Make History: Who Are the Favorites for World Cup 2022?

According to the latest World Cup 2022 odds for football betting, England is the third-favorite country to win the tournament. Brazil is currently the market leader.

As they try to improve on their recent poor form, Gareth Southgate’s England team is 7/1 joint-third favorite to win the World Cup in Qatar.

Southgate’s team is winless in six matches, all in the Nations League. There are growing rumors about whether the man who guided England to the semi-finals four years ago will be able to keep his position unless the team matches or improves on that performance.

England is likely to win the World Cup

England is now joint 7/1 third favorites to win the 2022 World Cup Qatar. This will be the first-ever winter tournament in history.

Southgate’s team had a difficult Nations League campaign. They lost six matches and were defeated in Milan against Italy.

England has one of the most talented squads in the world. The team is led by Harry Kane, so they will always have a chance. However, their overall performance must improve if they want to win their first major silverware since 1966.

There’ll be several fierce competitors

Brazil is the favorite to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. They are priced at 4/1

Despite losing last year’s Copa America final in Argentina, Tite’s team has been great in recent qualifying matches and friendly fixtures. Players such as Raphinha, Richarlison, and Neymar are all available to play in the tournament.

The five-time World Cup champions, who have not won it since 2002, were drawn in Group G alongside Cameroon, Switzerland, Serbia, and Cameroon. They are expected to pass without major problems.

France is priced at 6/1. They hope to be the third country to retain the World Cup after Brazil in 1962 and Italy in 1938. Les Bleus were drawn with Denmark, who have beaten them twice in Nations League.

South American champions Argentina are 7/1. They will be relying on Lionel Messi’s form, perhaps more so since it is his last World Cup. They will face tough competition from Group C’s Poland and Mexico, but Argentina looks well capable of passing.

Spain are the world champions of 2010, and they are 8/1 in the betting. They have done well in qualifying and the Nations League. Luis Enrique’s team is full of talented young players and could surprise everyone here in Qatar.

Spain was drawn alongside Germany (10/1) in a group. The fixture between these two teams will reveal a lot about the World Cup’s outcome.
