Amazon Studios’ Head of Television, Vernon Sanders, recently gave Reacher fans a reason to be excited. Reacher Season 2 is a highly anticipated television show that has been in the works at Amazon Studios after it began filming back in September. With a few details at hand, including Sanders’ approval and increasing demand for the show, Reacher’s Season 2 might arrive sooner than expected.

In a recent interview with Collider, Sanders revealed that production is running smoothly, and heaped praise on series lead Alan Ritchson’s performance as Reacher. Additionally, Sanders expressed his gratitude to all the hardworking producers involved in Reacher Season 2 and confidently predicted that viewers will get to experience more Reacher adventures next year.

“It’s going really well. Alan is back, and he is so fantastic in the role. I’m so proud of the producers [for] finding that fit for Reacher. The Reacher fans of the book, their reaction to the show has just been a dream. Season 2 is awesome. And as great as season one was, I think season two delivers beyond that, and I do think there’s a good chance that that show will be back next year.”

Reacher’s first season was a huge success for Amazon, with the series setting new viewership records and becoming one of their most critically acclaimed shows. The popularity of Reacher and its protagonist, Alan Ritchson, pushed Amazon to order a second season as soon as they could. Now that filming is underway, Reacher fans can expect more thrilling adventures and gripping stories set in the Reacher universe on Amazon Prime Video in the near future.

Reacher Season 2 is on its way, and it will be bringing the beloved 11th installment of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series, Bad Luck and Trouble. The book follows Reacher’s rag-tag squad of investigators from his army days running into a bit of trouble out in the wild, wild west. However, Reacher doesn’t catch wind until after several of his team have been killed. Reacher and what’s left of his crew must band together to figure out how a set of podunk security folks were able to outsmart their seasoned ex-teammates. Reacher Season 2 should be an action-packed thrill ride with plenty of twists and turns throughout.

Season 2 will feature Serinda Swan (The Inhumans) as Karla Dixon, an Army Special Investigators unit member; Ferdinand Kingsley (The Sandman) as A.M., a mercenary; and Rory Cochrane (Winning Time) as former detective Shane Langston. Shaun Sipos, Domenick Lombardozzi, Luke Bilyk, Dean McKenzie, Edsson Morales, Andres Collantes, Shannon Kook-Chun, Ty Victor Olsson, Josh Blacker, and Al Sapienza are among the newcomers.

With Reacher Season 2 on the horizon and Alan Ritchson returning to his iconic role, Reacher will continue to be one of Amazon’s standout competitive titles.
