What’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem About?

Group W Productions/Eyemark Entertainment

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

The film is set to hit theaters on August 4, 2023, and it will be made in a CG-animated format that will mix the classic look of the Turtles seen in the 80’s animated series that transformed them into a global hit with new techniques to bring the story to new audiences.

The classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles followed the charismatics Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael, four anthropomorphic turtle brothers trained in jiu-jitsu who fight evil in the New York City streets and live in the sewers to hide away. Supporting characters include the turtles’ rat sensei Splinter, their human friends April O’Neil and Casey Jones, and enemies such as Baxter Stockman, Krang, and their archenemy, the Shredder.
