  • Tokyo Vice: Series Adds Soji Arai in Season 2

Korean-Japanese actor Soji Arai has been cast in season 2 of the HBO Max series Tokyo Vice.

Apple TV+

According to Deadline, the second season of Tokyo Vice has cast actor Soji Arai, who received praise for his work as a series regular in the Apple TV+ series Pachinko. Shingo, an editor/journalist and the romantic interest of Emi (played by Rinko Kikuchi), will be portrayed by Ara.

Tokyo Vice season 2‘s portrayal of the Tokyo police force is anticipated to gain new depth and authenticity because of Arai’s addition to the ensemble. Arai’s prior work has demonstrated his capacity to present complex and riveting portrayals, making him the ideal choice for the gritty tone of the show.

Based on the same-named memoir by American journalist Jake Adelstein, Tokyo Vice is a crime thriller television series produced in the United States. The program centers on Adelstein’s adventures covering crimes for the Tokyo newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun. The series’ gritty depiction of the Tokyo criminal underworld garnered favorable reviews when it made its HBO Max debut in April 2022.

Tokyo Vice Season 2 is expected to be even more intense and action-packed than Season 1, and Arai’s character is anticipated to play a significant part in the show’s plot. The new season, which is likely to premiere sometime in 2023, is avidly anticipated by the show’s loyal audience.

United Artists Releasing/Warner Bros. Pictures

The highly anticipated movie Creed III had a fantastic box office debut, earning an estimated $100.4 million worldwide in its first-weekend release.

A wide range of viewers have flocked to see Creed III in cinemas, including longtime followers of the series and those new to it. The movie’s opportune release, which fell right before the holidays and the start of the winter blockbuster season, has been partly credited with its success.

Michael B. Jordan reprises his role as Adonis Creed in the third Creed film. Critics and viewers have the movie with favorable reviews, with many praising the cast’s performances and the film’s potent themes of familial relationships, legacy, and liberation. Another aspect of the movie that has been praised is the intense fight sequences.

The success of Creed III is evidence of the Rocky franchise’s lasting appeal and the caliber of the Creed movies’ narrative and filmmaking. With such a solid first weekend, the film will probably keep doing well at the box office and solidify Jordan’s position as an up-and-coming director who is in demand in Hollywood.
