Selena Gomez and Sister Gracie Attend Taylor Swift Concert

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift truly are forever friends. On April 2, Gomez posted a photo and video on her Instagram from Swift’s Eras tour stop in Arlington, TX, on Saturday. The “Only Murders in the Building” star attended the concert alongside her 9-year-old sister, Gracie Elliott Teefey, and stepdad, Brian Teefey.

In the photo, Gracie can be seen making a heart with her hands as Swift performs on stage. The next slide on Gomez’s post is a video featuring the sisters dancing as the pop star sings “Delicate.” She captioned the pic and video, “Thank you bestie for having me and my sissy transport into your mystical, euphoric and special world. Proud to know you! love you forever and always.”

Both Gomez and Gracie came to Swift’s concert dressed to impress. The “Calm Down” singer wore an oversize white cardigan over a white dress to represent her friend’s “Folklore” era. Meanwhile, Gracie rocked a purple gown that gave off major “Speak Now” vibes.

Videos captured by fans also revealed a sweet moment during the concert when Swift gave Gracie her hat in exchange for a friendship bracelet. The special moment was not only a beautiful nod to Swift and Gomez’s friendship, but it also revealed that even though the “Lover” singer is her big sister’s best friend, Gracie is still a true Swiftie.

Seeing Swift interact with Gracie is extra adorable when you remember that she and Gomez have been friends since before the youngster was born. The longtime pals first connected back in 2008 when they were both dating a Jonas brother. Their friendship has been going strong ever since. In fact, Gomez called Swift her “only friend in the industry” in a 2022 Rolling Stone interview.

In 2020, both Swift and Gomez talked about their friendship in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “There has always been this quality of sisterhood, and I don’t say that in a basic way,” Swift said of their friendship. “I knew from when I met her, I would always have her back.”

Gomez’s post is just one example of how the feeling is clearly mutual.
