Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced. In 2011’s Fast Five, Dom and his crew took out nefarious Brazilian drug kingpin Hernan Reyes and decapitated his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. What they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son, Dante, played by Aquaman’s Jason Momoa, witnessed it all and has spent the last 12 years masterminding a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price.

Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be forged, and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son is the ultimate target of Dante’s vengeance.

Fast X stars returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena and Scott Eastwood, with Oscar winner Helen Mirren and Oscar winner Charlize Theron, with the new recruits including Oscar winner Brie Larson, Reacher star Alan Richtson, The Suicide Squad star Daniela Melchior, and legendary Oscar winner Rita Moreno as Dom and Mia’s Abuelita Toretto.

Fast X Will Feature the Surprise Return of a Fast & Furious Family Member

Universal Pictures

Because nothing is secret nowadays, it has now been confirmed that Fast X will feature a very surprising return from a particular member of the Fast and Furious family. Be warned, MAJOR SPOILERS to follow.

It has now been revealed that none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will return to The Fast Saga as Luke Hobbs during a post-credits scene. The news broke recently that Johnson will cameo in the sequel after being absent from 2021’s ninth outing, F9, with the character no doubt playing a much bigger part in the finale of the franchise. We will have to wait and see whether Hobbs will return as a hero, or whether the oft-reported feud between Johnson and Diesel will carry over onto the big screen…

Directed by Louis Leterrier from a screenplay by Dan Mazeau and Justin Lin, and based on a story by Mazeau, Lin, and Zach Dean, Fast X is scheduled to land in theaters in the United States on May 19, from Universal Pictures.
