Ashley Park’s Must-Have Products | POPSUGAR Fashion

Ashley Park is having a hell of a year — as evidenced by our interview with the star, when mere seconds into the phone call she jokingly tells POPSUGAR: “I’m in Utah in the middle of a mountain.” She’s working on a new project, of course. But contrary to her remote location at the time of our chat, Park is seemingly everywhere these days. The actress and singer first made waves as the efficaciously charming BFF to Lily Collins’s Emily in Netflix’s hit series “Emily in Paris.” But her recent role in the dark comedy “Beef” — another must-watch from Netflix — and forthcoming project “Joy Ride” have secured Park’s status as a bonafide It girl in Hollywood (and the internet’s ultimate celebrity obsession).

Park’s charismatic persona and vibrant style have undoubtedly contributed to her meteoric rise; evidently, they’re also what she tried (read: rather successfully managed) to bottle up and encapsulate in her latest collaboration with Rent the Runway, the fashion subscription platform that allows users to rent designer styles for a fraction of their market cost. Following her highly successful fall collection with the brand, Park teamed up with RTR once again for a summer line that’s designed to infuse some serious color into your wardrobe — a style cue taken straight from Park’s own personal fashion playbook.

“Summer’s my favorite season — not just because I’m a Gemini — but I just feel like it’s such a season of transition and fun and I just wanted this collection to feel like what someone’s dream summer would be like,” Park explains. “For me, much of my summers — or life, really — is just spent out of a suitcase now. So, I really wanted pieces that felt easy to pack, really fun, playful, and just [ideal] to throw on for any sort of holiday or trip.”

In the midst of promoting her latest projects, filming future projects, and — oh yeah — styling looks from her newest fashion collab (the woman is nonstop!), Park spoke with us about her favorite pieces from her summer collection with Rent the Runway, along with all of the other must-have products she can’t live without. From a sculpting microcurrent tool to a stylish hard-side suitcase that helps to keep her sanity in tact (even as her job takes her around the world), keep reading to see everything that Park is loving at the moment.
