BLACKPINK’s Lisa partners with RCA Records for new solo music

BLACKPINK singer Lisa has signed a new deal with RCA Records for her future solo releases.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa and her company LLOUND announced the new partnership with RCA Records today, alongside the launch of her new official website. The move comes two months after the singer founded LLOUD, which she previously described as a “platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment”.

Speaking about the new deal, Lisa said that she is “super excited to be joining the RCA family and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career”, per Variety. According to the publication, the K-pop idol will also have full ownership of all her recordings under the partnership.

Meanwhile, RCA Records CEO Peter Edge and COO John Fleckenstein said in a joint statement that they are “are incredibly proud to partner with Lisa and LLOUD”, adding that the singer is “a multidimensional talent and an irrefutable global force”.

Lisa launched LLOUD in February 2024, shortly after YG Entertainment confirmed that all four members of BLACKPINK would not be renewing their individual contracts with the agency. The girl group, however, will still continue to release music together under the K-pop agency.

In other news, the Thai-born singer will be making her acting debut in The White Lotus season three. Of note, The White Lotus season three will be set in Lisa’s home country of Thailand, and is set to be shot on the island of Ko Samui, the province Phuket and the city of Bangkok.

Meanwhile, ‘Water’ singer Tyla recently revealed that she’s in talks to potentially collaborate with Lisa on a new song. It comes shortly after Tyla posted an Instagram Story of her and Lisa listening to the song ‘Art’, from her newly released eponymous debut album.
