ATEEZ have released a brand-new mini-album ‘Golden Hour: Part 1’ and a music video for its lead single ‘Work’.
‘Golden Hour: Part 1’ marks the boyband’s first music of 2024, since they released their second studio album, ‘The World EP.Fin: Will’, in December 2023. The latter was led by the single ‘Crazy Form’.
The new music video for ‘Work’ follows the members of ATEEZ as they hustle to make more money, doing a variety of odd jobs from running a diner to mining for gold. ‘Work’ was co-written by members Hongjoong and Mingi, while its choreography was co-created by San.
“Gotta work / Gotta make that money, make purse / Got a fur coat so I make it purr / Gotta get that credit, get perks / Gotta, gotta, gotta work,” they chant on the chorus.
Following promotions for ‘The Golden Hour: Part 1’, ATEEZ will be embarking on their upcoming 2024 ‘Towards the Light: Will to Power’ world tour in North America, which will take place this July and August.
In other K-pop news, girl group ARTMS – featuring LOONA members HaSeul, JinSoul, Kim Lip, Choerry and HeeJin – have made their official debut with the release of their debut album ‘Dall’, featuring the lead single ‘Virtual Angel’.
Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin has retained her role as the CEO of K-pop agency ADOR, home to NewJeans, following a shareholders meeting. This comes amid the music executive’s a prolonged feud with HYBE.
