Arnold Schwarzenegger has praised his son Patrick’s performance in the latest season of The White Lotus, joking about the fact that the actor has a nude scene in the show.
On Instagram, the star posted a picture of himself and his son at the premiere for the show, where Patrick plays the child of a wealthy businessman, played by Jason Isaacs.
The Terminator legend wrote underneath the picture: “I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate @patrickschwarzenegger at the White Lotus Season 3 premiere. What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday – trust me”.
Hi son was equally enthusiastic, posting on his own account: “White lotus premiere!! What a surreal moment! Dream come true getting to watch the pilot with my family. Mike white & the rest of the cast I love you WATCH THIS SUNDAY”.
The post included the picture of him and his father, as well as his castmates.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently filming The Man With The Bag, an action-comedy where Santa Claus enlists the help of a petty criminal after his sack of presents is stolen. The film stars Schwarzenegger himself as Santa and Reacher star Alan Ritchson in the lead.
Season three of The White Lotus premiered February 16, with NME’s four-star review describing it as “TV’s most essential destination”, remarking that “this transgressive soap opera remains unique and completely jaw-dropping”.
Patrick Schwarzenegger’s co-star on the show, BLACKPINK singer Lisa, recently spoke about her experiences making her acting debut. She recalled: “I was sweating. I was like, ‘I can’t remember my lines.’ I’m blanked.”
