Report: Titans grant Landry permission to seek trade

The Tennessee Titans have granted pass-rusher Harold Landry permission to seek a trade, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Landry tallied 71 total tackles (15 for loss), nine sacks, four pass deflections, and a safety in 17 games in 2024.

The 28-year-old has two years remaining on his current deal. Dealing the pass-rusher before June 1 will free up $10.9 million in cap space, according to Over the Cap. The Titans are projected to have $51 million in space before any trade.

Tennessee could look to replace the one-time Pro Bowler with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft as Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter is widely considered one of the top prospects in this year’s class. The franchise earned the top selection after a 3-14 campaign.

Landry has posted 397 total tackles (70 for loss), 50.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and 102 quarterback hits since being drafted 41st overall in the 2018 draft.
