Kogonada’s new romantic fantasy adventure A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, has debuted with a disappointingly low Rotten Tomatoes score, suggesting that the film is not as big, bold or beautiful as its title – or synopsis (below) – suggests. The story follows a pair of strangers on an unimaginable journey through time that sees them revisiting places from their memories, including a lighthouse, an art museum, and even one of their childhood bedrooms. Along the way, the pair confront their pasts, learn important lessons about their present situations, and begin to carve out a future together.
