Businesswoman, woman empowerment advocate Ada Panday has created something enduring with her brand Ataratma, a luxury fragrance house inspired by ancient wisdom yet customized for modern-day use. Remarkably, she grew up in a multicultural home which opened her profound reference to perfumery as not only a finishing touch, but also a medium for self-awareness, poise, and equanimity. The name Ataratma combines the Sanskrit words ‘Attar’ for scent and ‘Atma’ for soul, showcasing her mission to create perfumes for people to feel deeply connected to themselves.

Four Collections Designed with Intention
The debut of Ataratma introduces four pure parfum collections. All concoctions are meant to evoke and emanate various emotional states. ATMA is for calming to inspire reflection and mindfulness, ANANDA captures joy and optimism, KAMA channels confidence and attraction, and ZAKRA inspires resilience. The compositions merge premium European ingredients with botanicals long valued in Ayurvedic traditions for their therapeutic qualities, exceptionally blended at 25–30% concentration.

Fragrance that Works on Both Art and Science
Ada ensured that artistic sophistication is in every bottle. They are born out of collaboration with perfumers such as Nelly Hachem-Ruiz, Paul Guerlain, Fanny Bal, Tanguy Guesnet, and Caroline Dumur. Furthermore, Kashmiri saffron, sacred jasmine, and sandalwood are paired with IFF’s neuroscience research. This dual approach turns daily perfume application into a magnificent ritual to uplift or empower, depending on what the day demands.

Each container features patterns derived from traditional motifs and hand-finished by craftsman Vincent Villegier. In addition, everything is presented in artisan-made terracotta boxes from Dorset.
