Who would have thought that Big Brother Season 28 would get good after so many meandering weeks?
All the season needed was a blindside to shift the house dynamic and introduce a new set of targets.
As TV Fanatic previously reported, LaTrice won the Week 5 Head of Household competition, beating out Kamu at the final hurdle.

This happened hours after Kamu, Hayley, and Chuk were left out of a vote flip to save Drew and Melody and send Lyric out of the house.
That left outgoing HOH Hayley with a sour taste in her mouth. Initially, she wanted to take out Taylor, but that plan blew up when Taylor won the Veto competition.
Then, she wanted Drew or Melody gone, and that blew up when Angela, Dee, and Devens worked the house to flip the vote.
Hayley’s reaction during the eviction episode was priceless.

Her week of power culminated in confusion, and she went from the most powerful place in the house to the most vulnerable: The block.
We saw LaTrice on Friday morning trying to come to terms with who to target this week, and after the way Hayley treated the rest of the house, she was high up on her list.
Hayley has ruffled feathers for complaining that the game has been hard, yet she spent the first four weeks on the side of the house with all of the power.
Hayley thought her game was so tough as HOH that she would win the next Big Brother Time Capsule.

The delusion is real with her, but then, it’s real with most people in the game.
LaTrice nominated Barrett and Chuk alongside Hayley for eviction. For now, Barrett is a pawn, and Chuk is only up because LaTrice heard he said he would target her.
So, LaTrice felt that putting him up now was good for her game. It also meant that if he won the Veto, he couldn’t save Hayley.
He’d likely want to save himself first. So, you can only imagine my surprise when Hayley started floating ideas to keep her, Chuk, and Kamu safe.

She initially said she would remove Chuk from the block and stay on it until Thursday.
She then said that she or Chuk could win and keep the nominations the same because she believes Kamu is the target and she doesn’t want to be on the block with two of her allies.
It’s a wild sentiment to make, but why does she think that she could rally the votes against Barrett?
Barrett is safe because he’s played the middle and has won no competitions on Big Brother. There’s no way that he would be seen as a bigger threat than Chuk, Hayley, or Kamu.

The target so far this week seems to be Hayley, but with how quickly things have changed in the house in a few days, it’s anyone’s guess as to who will be put on the block on Monday if someone comes down.
LaTrice seems intent on shaking up the game, and it’s long overdue.
The Big Brother Live Feeds went down on Saturday afternoon and returned later, revealing that Kamu won the latest Power of Veto.
This is sure to cause some big changes to LaTrice’s plans.
