Carlacia Grant is a breakout star of “Outer Banks,” and her experiences filming on set are as fun as you’d expect. “My job is to go and hang out with my friends and do something I love to do. And Cleo’s just really such a fun character to play because she’s literally the opposite of me. I’m like this girly girl, and Cleo’s a cowboy. So I love that it gets me to stretch my instrument and stretch my craft and live in another person’s body for a while,” Grant tells POPSUGAR.

As an official Pogue in season three, Cleo joins the team in finally finding the treasure and develops a budding relationship with Pope along the way. In season four, Grant hopes to see more of Cleo’s backstory told and also wants her character to fight Rafe Cameron one on one. “Like, I just want us to go at it,” Grant says.

Just like Cleo, Grant has an effortless, cool-girl style — hence why both E.l.f. Cosmetics and American Eagle crowned her the “belfie queen” for their E.l.f. X AE collaboration. The beauty line has teamed up with the apparel brand on a collection of denim-inspired lip balms, an eyeshadow palette, and a butt mask. Pointing out that it’s all about the angle, she recommends “placing the camera below your waist, lower the better, and when you’re doing it, the leg that’s furthest away from the camera, bend it so you get a nice angle. Also, just look back over the shoulder. Two birds, one stone, selfie, belfie all at once.”
