Kathleen Hanna and Ad-Rock have covered Justin Bieber’s ‘Let Me Love You’ for the Contra–ICE benefit album – check it out below.

Curated by Build Art Make Change (BAMC) founder Dali Colorado, the ICE OUT album contains exclusive, unreleased tracks from over 30 artists, including Hanna and Ad-Rock plus Tom Morello, Fred Armisen and more.

In a statement about the album, Colorado said: “Contra-ICE is not only an album. It is not only a collective, it is a cultural infrastructure built to support frontline organisations, amplify immigrant voices, and mobilise creatives who believe that love is not passive; it’s organised.
“Music has always been my first language. Justice has always been my inheritance. Contra-ICE is where those two lineages meet, urgently, unapologetically, and with LOVE OVER FEAR.”
He continued, “Every track, transition, and voice serves a purpose, inviting listeners to move through moments of grief, anger, resilience, hope, and ultimately, action…From beginning to end, it tells a story, weaving together music, comedy, and spoken word from a diverse community of artists responding to the inhumane treatment perpetuated by today’s fascist ICE state” (as per Consequence).
Produced by Beastie Boys collaborator Mario Caldato Jr., Hanna and Ad-Rock’s cover of Bieber’s ‘Let Me Love You’ also features contributions from Money Mark, Fredo Ortiz, and Frank Figueroa.

In a statement about the record, Bikini Kill’s Hanna said: “It’s not often you get to play music with your favourite people while working with a grassroots organisation like Contra-ICE.
“They are passionately fighting against fascism and white supremacy, which is something none of us can afford to ignore. Mario Caldato Jr. produced our song which was a dream come true for me. Thank you so much to Contra-ICE for making this happen and allowing me to represent what we collectively stand for.”
It comes as a number of artists have spoken out against the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) this year.
At the Grammy awards earlier this year, Billie Eilish spoke about about ICE when she accepted the award for Song Of The Year with the ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ track, ‘Wildflower’.
“Fuck ICE,” she said, wearing a pin that also read “ICE OUT”.
“As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land,” she added. “It’s really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I feel really hopeful in this room. I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter… and fuck ICE.”
Countless other artists have been vocal about the escalating violence from ICE, including Bruce Springsteen, who penned the new song ‘Streets Of Minneapolis’, as well as Tom Morello, Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny.
