Damiano David, Sparks and more announced as full line-up revealed

Damiano David and Sparks are among the new names added to the Bilbao BBK 2025 line-up. Check out all the new additions below.

In December, the Spanish festival announced the first wave of acts, including PulpKylie Minogue and RAYE.

The initial announcement also revealed that there will be performances from Michael KiwanukaNathy Peluso, Bad Gyal, Alice Phoebe LouAmyl And The SniffersJalen Ngonda, Jessica Pratt, English Teacher, L’impératrice, Makaya McCraven, Obongjayar, Sofie Royer, Wunderhorse and more.

Now, they’ve unveiled the entire line-up, which includes the Måneskin frontman, Sparks, Kaytranada, Japanese Breakfast, Hinds and more. You can find a full list below.

The 2025 edition is set to kick off between July 10 to 12 in Kobetamendi, Bilbao. Tickets are now on sale, and you can find them here.

The 2025 edition will also include a brand new club concept, Gorria, which the festival says will offer “an ever-shifting dancefloor anarchy, where each night reinvents itself under the vision of a different collective. A space where rhythm accelerates, identity blurs, and the night becomes an open canvas for movement and expression.”

Last year’s edition of the Spanish festival saw performances from Arcade FireMassive AttackThe ProdigyJungleOvermono and Ezra Collective, among others.

Reviewing 2023’s Bilbao BBK Live – where the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Pavement performed – NME wrote that the event “continues to stand at the forefront of the European festival circuit”.

David’s addition to the line-up follows the recent announcement of his debut solo album ‘Funny Little Fears’, which will be released on May 16 via Sony Music Italy / Arista. It will feature his debut solo single ‘Born With A Broken Heart‘, the Labrinth-produced ‘Silverlines‘ and his latest release ‘Next Summer‘.

Previously speaking to NME about the album, David shared: “It’s going to be very excessive, very dramatic, very theatrical, I would say. It’s definitely more personal. It’s about the drama of being alive; especially under the circumstances.”

Meanwhile, Sparks recently announced their 28th studio album ‘MAD!’, due for release on May 23 via Transgressive Records (pre-order/pre-save here). So far, they’ve shared the singles ‘JanSport Backpack’ and ‘Do Things My Own Way’.

‘MAD!’ is Sparks’ first album since 2023’s ‘The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte’, which NME awarded four stars, noting: “If you’re looking for a paramount example of Sparks’ ability to merge timeless pop, acerbic writing, and inventive orchestration into certifiable earworms, look no further than ‘Mona Lisa’s Packing Leaving Late Tonight’. In it, the brothers shape sounds around a literary tale that could stand alone, throwing voices back and forth like an additional instrument, allowing the song to move unabashedly in peculiar directions.”
