While fans have already received candid looks at Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, an official image of Matt Murdock’s new suit has surfaced online. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the Disney+ series would feature the Man Without Fear donning new threads as he faces Kingpin and his corrupt administration. Now, fans will finally get what they have wanted since Daredevil debuted in the original Netflix series in 2015.
Entertainment Weekly debuted a new image from the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which features Charlie Cox as the titular MCU hero in his black-and-red suit, pulled straight from the source material. For the first time ever, the new suit will include the classic double D logo, which was absent in every season of Netflix’s Daredevil and the first season of Born Again. The new close-up look is no different from what fans were able to witness when the set photos leaked earlier this year, but the timing of the official release seems to indicate that the show’s marketing will start long before it returns on Disney+ in early 2026. With New York Comic-Con rolling out this weekend, it is possible that attendees will be treated to the first footage from the upcoming season of Born Again. The latest batch of episodes finished filming earlier this year, so it would not be shocking if viewers get to see a teaser before the New Year. After an eventful Season 1 finale, things will heat up as Daredevil wages a full-on against Kingpin, which will have him team up with a few familiar faces, like Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Is Directly Connected to ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’

During an interview with EW, Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Television, revealed that they are working closely with the Spider-Man: Brand New Day production to make sure it lines up closely with the events of Daredevil: Born Again. It seems the Spidey sequel will directly address the current state of New York City, which is being overrun by Kingpin’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force. With Punisher (Jon Bernthal) having a key role in Brand New Day, it is not shocking that there will be more synergy with the television side of the MCU than ever before. Still, it is exciting to know that the darker underbelly of the franchise will be shown on the big screen.
“Yeah. We are communicating a lot with the team on Spider-Man: Brand New Day to make sure that there’s coherence there. We don’t want to spoil anything, but it very much exists in the same world and it is important. We’re in a shared universe together, but I would say just the Daredevil comic books, the Punisher comic books depicted a certain tone and an idea of New York in a different way than Spider-Man’s, but they both exist in the same universe. It’s similar. Everything lines up and the impacts are felt, but we’re able to tell different stories.”
