The stars were aligned on the Oscars red carpet tonight, showing up in full sparkle and silver.

While actresses like Demi Moore and Felicity Jones will be vying for gold during the show, they wore statement-making metallic silver to the ceremony — and were in good company with others.

Moore, 62, was going for “full wattage Demi” her stylist Brad Goreski told E!. The custom Armani Privé gown was all about highlighting the actress’s silhouette with a plunging neckline and scalloped hips. The beaded embellishments and Chopard jewels were just the cherry on top. It is certainly a look fit for a first-time Oscar nominee and favored winner in the Best Actress category for her role in The Substance.

Jones, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The Brutalist, also went with Armani Privé for her liquid silver look. The silk dress featured a high neckline, cutouts and a bow.

Looks worn by Halle Berry and Yvonne Orji were similarly inspired, as both went for mirrored gowns.

Berry’s was made by Christian Siriano, who spoke about it in detail as a fashion correspondent on E! “My entire career, I wanted to dress one person at the Oscars, and that’s Halle Berry,” he said. “We wanted to give her such a moment.” And they did just that with the metallic and iridescent gown, which Siriano said was made with 7,000 mirrored crystals.

Orji led the way with the trend as she arrived for E! corresponding duties in the first mirrored gown of the evening. Hers featured more geometric beading and a higher neckline.

Mindy Kaling rounded out the trend with a silver Oscar de la Renta gown made with over 4 pounds of leafy embellishments.

They and the halter neckline added drama to the metallic look. Kaling too is hoping to leave the show with a gold Oscar statuette for her work as a producer on Anuja, but just being among this group of shining women is a win in itself.
