Philippa Northeast plays an aspiring writer in rural Australia in My Brilliant Career.
Based on the novel of the same name by Miles Franklin, the period drama follows Sybylla whose ambitions to become a writer are disrupted by a young man named Harry.
Along with Northeast, the show’s cast includes Christopher Chung, Anna Chancellor, Genevieve O’Reilly, Kate Mulvany, Jake Dunn, Alexander England, Sherry-Lee Watson and Miah Madden.
All six episodes of My Brilliant Career are available on Netflix.
