Over 40 years after This Is Spinal Tap, the fictional heavy metal band have reunited for a mockumentary sequel.
Directed by Rob Reiner, who returns on-screen as documentarian Marty Di Bergi, Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues charts the band’s reunion after 15 years for one final show.
All the original band members reprise their roles, including Christopher Guest as Nigel Tufnel, Michael McKean as David St. Hubbins and Harry Shearer as Derek Smalls. Other cast members include Fran Drescher, Don Lake, John Michael Higgins, Nina Conti, Griffin Matthews and Kerry Godliman.
Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues was released in cinemas worldwide on September 12, 2025.

The sequel’s soundtrack features four reworked songs from the first movie, including a new version of ‘Stonehenge’ with Elton John, along with nine original songs. Other guest appearances include Paul McCartney and Garth Brooks.
