Every TV Show Coming to Prime Video in November 2024

For November, Prime Video is certainly looking to kick things up a notch with some exciting new series and a live-action adaptation of a beloved manga/anime series. The fall month will be filled with thrills for those subscribed to Prime. This includes a spin-off of the popular American spy action series Citadel in Citadel: Honey Bunny. For those looking for less action and more psychological thrills when it comes to the crime genre, Cross makes its debut this month. For those looking for a psychological tale of a different type, the body-swapping, idol-celebrating, murder mystery (trust us, it works) of Oshi No Ko is also coming to Prime at the end of November.

Beyond these three standout series, Prime Video offers some intriguing docuseries for the month, including German Cocaine Cowboy and Every Minute Counts. The streaming platform is also looking to add more game shows with the upcoming Wish List Games. Below is all the info you need to tune in and enjoy Prime Video’s offerings in November.

Citadel: Honey Bunny

Streaming on November 7

Spinning off the American series Citadel, Citadel: Honey Bunny starts with a couple, stuntman Bunny and actor Honey, who, after taking on a side gig, find themselves pulled into the world of espionage, tearing their relationship apart. Years later, after the two become estranged, they are forced to take up arms again and work together to save their daughter, Nadia. Citadel: Honey Bunny looks to expand on the Citadel universe, acting as a companion piece to the original series and the recent Citadel: Diana. However, it can still be watched on its own.

These are the best shows on Prime Video, which has steadily become a highly revered and lucrative streaming platform able to compete with the best.

Citadel: Honey Bunny offers a new backdrop in the franchise, with the events unfolding in Bombay, India, in the 1990s. Not only does this offer a new and exciting change of scenery, but it also brings talent from India to the forefront, including actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, as well as directors Raj & DK and Sita R. Menon. Fans can expect the same high-octane action backed by a heartwarming story as a new chapter of Citadel launches on November 7 on Prime Video.

Cross

Streaming on November 14

Based on the popular Alex Cross novels by James Patterson, Cross follows a detective and forensic psychologist, Alex Cross, through a series of crimes where he has to delve into the mind of a killer. At the same time, Cross has to toe the line of bringing criminals to justice with the safety of his friends and family, with a target on his back for his profound talents in capturing the most heinous murderers. This is the first time James Patterson’s work has been adapted into a TV series.

This is not the first time Alex Cross has appeared on the screen. 2012’s Alex Cross attempted and failed to bring the character to life, with Patterson expressing disappointment with the film adaptation. The excellent news for fans is that Cross is shaping up to be the perfect adaptation of the popular character (even with the planned deviation from the novel), with creator Ben Watkins of Burn Notice fame behind the project. The series also has a great cast, including Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross, Isaiah Mustafa as Detective John Sampson, Ryan Eggold as Ed Ramsey, and Juanita Jennings as Regina Cross. Psychological crime drama at its best, Cross lands on Prime Video on November 14.

Oshi No Ko

Streaming on November 28

Oshi No Ko has become a cultural phenomenon, with Japanese manga and anime finding immense popularity. Manga sales have sold over nine million copies, and anime has been critically acclaimed and kept the top spot on the charts. Many people will undeniably tune into the live-action adaptation to see if it can reach the same heights and popularity as the source material.

Related The Best Prime Video Original Movie of Every Year (So Far)

Amazon Studios has released a lot of gems over the years on Prime Video. These are the best of their movies from every year.

The plot is slightly convoluted, including murder, rebirth, and navigating life through the pressures of pop-idol culture. However, the series has found acclaim for its balancing of various genres, thoughtful drama with a psychological edge, and navigating the complexities of fame. This one may be more niche in interest and may not appeal to the casual viewer, but those wanting to see all the acclaim surrounding the series may want to check out the live-action adaptation if they stay away from anime and manga. Oshi No Ko is set to hit the center stage once again when it streams on Prime Video on November 27.
