Ashley Park’s impressive “Emily in Paris” style has carried over to her latest role as Naomi in Netflix’s “Beef.” Park’s character, while stylish and sweet, also has her vengeful streaks. Take, for example, a scene in the series’ fifth episode when Naomi calls Amy (Ali Wong) to announce that her sense of style has earned her a magazine spread. When Amy hangs up instead of congratulating her, Naomi — dressed in a Petites Carolena Dress ($248) from Reformation — zips herself into a garment bag and sets out to nab Amy as the neighborhood’s road rage culprit.
During the pivotal scene, Park’s white dress features a fitted bodice and puffed sleeves with smocking along the elbows. Printed in a pale blue garden design, the dress boasts scenes of swooping birds, fluttering leaves, and scattered cuttings from roses and baby’s breath. At the left side, the dress splits into a thigh-high slit, cutting the elegant pattern in two before it drops just above the mid-calf. Sophisticated and chic, the piece evokes spring in every element — from the ruffled sleeve to the breezy hemline — making it the ultimate addition to our seasonal wardrobes.
If the puff sleeve isn’t for you, Reformation also offers two other dresses and a jumpsuit in the same Pompadour pattern. Additional styles include the Kourtney Dress ($248) with a fitted bodice and delicate straps, the Rosi Minidress ($228) with cap sleeves and an open back, and the Alfred Jumpsuit ($278) with a ruffled neckline and a flared hem. Easy to style with sandals and a sleek pair of sunglasses for a picnic in the park or heels and a coat for date-night cocktails, we’ll be adding these looks to our carts immediately.
