Florence Pugh Wears a Sheer Victoria Beckham Gown

Florence Pugh‘s love of naked dresses is not waning, as she demonstrated at the Academy’s 13th Governors Awards on Nov. 19. Wearing a stunning Victoria Beckham white gown with strategically placed panels, the “Don’t Worry Darling” star proved her style credentials yet again.

Styled by Rebecca Corbin Murray, the actor wowed in the look straight from Beckham’s spring/summer 2023 collection. Featuring a cowl neck with two cream panels across the chest and hips that were joined by see-through sections covered in metallic polka dots, the bias-cut gown draped effortlessly to the floor finishing in a bridal-like train. Gold chain fringing at the back added extra detail that perfectly complemented the Tiffany & Co. statement gold tassel necklace she added.

Pugh’s hair was given a wet-look texture by hairstylist Peter Lux, who swept it back and flicked the ends outwards. Makeup artist Alex Babsky kept her skin dewy with a gorgeous gold eyeshadow and her lipstick matte by blotting it with a tissue, as shown on his Instagram Stories. Beckham then posted photos of Pugh onto her Instagram, along with the hashtag #vbmuse, insinuating we could be seeing the actor in more Beckham designs.

Sheer gowns have been Pugh’s signature look this season, from the completely see-through Valentino co-ord at Paris Fashion Week to the shimmering, sheer tulle dress at the Venice Film Festival. And who can forget the transparent Barbiecore Valentino look she wore at the fashion house’s Haute Couture show? Whether she opts for naked dresses, mismatched boots, or corset tops, Pugh’s wardrobe can do no wrong.

See all angles of Pugh’s white-hot moment ahead.
