Hailey Bieber proved miniskirts are never out of season. The model and Rhode founder was spotted sporting a pleated micro miniskirt layered under a long black coat on the streets of New York City on Jan. 22. Celebrity stylist Dani Michelle, who has worked with Bieber in the past, was responsible for this sexy take on the dark-academia trend.
Beneath her black Saint Laurent coat, Bieber wore an oversize light-brown sweater with a double-collar detail. Hopefully the length of the coat added a bit of warmth, offsetting Bieber’s gray pleated micro skirt — in the dead of winter, we might add. For added warmth, Bieber wore sheer black tights from Calzedonia. And leaning into the edgy schoolgirl aesthetic, she layered white ankle socks over her tights and paired them with classic black loafers.
