Madelyn Cline arrived at Netflix’s “Outer Banks” season three premiere on Thursday, Feb. 16, wearing a sheer-effect slip dress designed by Stella McCartney. The pale-blue maxi boasted a tank silhouette and was created from an embellished metallic material, which reflected the light at every turn on the red carpet. Twenty-five-year-old Cline appeared to be channeling her inner siren, with silver eyeshadow, peach cheeks, and a glossy lip courtesy of Jen Tioseco and a dirty-blond lob parted at the center by Ted Gibson. She finished the ensemble with minimalist gold Jimmy Choo sandals and several stacking rings.
Other cast members were also in attendance, including Madison Bailey, who wore not one but two looks for the evening. Beginning the night in a green sequin T-shirt gown from Tom Ford with totally sheer mesh panels, she later changed into a black Alexandre Vauthier minidress for the afterparty. This number, with its front bows and skin-revealing cutouts, left little to the imagination. Carlacia Grant also chose two looks for the event, starting off in a bright-red V-neck dress and finishing with a purple gown with a cutout at the midsection.
Cline’s look is quite effortless when compared to some of her most recent appearances, which feels appropriate, considering the casual wardrobe she keeps on “Outer Banks.” For a party in Los Angeles last week, Cline chose oversize suiting from Stella McCartney, underneath which she wore nothing but a top made entirely of thin metal chains. For an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” a week prior, she chose a chartreuse silk gown that was totally backless, albeit long sleeved and ankle length to balance out the skin-baring details.
