Olivia Rodrigo Wearing a Givenchy Minidress at Grammys 2022

Olivia Rodrigo performed at the 2022 Grammys for the first time last night, and her outfit took heavy influence from the ’90s. The singer had a lot to celebrate at the award show as she snagged three awards for winning best new artist, best pop vocal album for “Sour,” and pop solo performance for her hit “drivers license.”

Rodrigo took the stage to perform her award-winning debut song “drivers license,” where she swapped out her Vivienne Westwood red carpet gown for a ’90s-inspired runway dress by Givenchy. The white minidress is from the luxury brand’s 2022 ready-to-wear collection. On the runway, the look was debuted with a simple pair of thigh-high boots, but Rodrigo accessorized it on stage with her signature twist, thanks to her stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo. The duo added some edge to her outfit by teaming the frock with Amina Muaddi x Wolford fishnet tights and a pair of chunky black combat boots. She also wore a total of three choker necklaces. Her hairstylist Clayton Hawkins styled her hair in a middle part with loose curls, while her makeup artist gave her a bold, winged eyeliner.

The 19-year-old started off the night by walking the red carpet wearing a long black gown by Vivienne Westwood. The goth-inspired dress had pink illusion beading along the front and back and an off-the-shoulder, corset bodice. “I wanted to do something fun and young, but also we’re at the Grammys, it’s glamorous,” Rodrigo told Laverne Cox during an E! red carpet interview. She finished off her look with a touch of Old Hollywood glam by wearing a pair of black opera gloves, a leading trend for the night among celebrities.
