Salma Hayek’s Yellow Bikini With Ties

While many celebrities have embraced the thongkini trend this season, Salma Hayek still makes a case for the classic bikini. On July 30, the Mexican-American actress took to Instagram to show off moments from a scuba diving trip that featured a cheery photo with her instructor, Martina Engel. As the two friends held beers post-swim, Hayek bared her cleavage in a bright-yellow bustier swimsuit top with triangle-shaped cups joined together with a chic bow. She kept things laid back with her black diving suit over her lower half, possibly covering a matching yellow bottom. Hayek’s hair was styled in a messy ponytail, and she sported a face free of makeup.

Hayek’s cemented herself as the queen of bikinis, often donning bra-inspired tops. In fact, she wore this same bikini on another boat outing in April, proving that it’s more than OK to repeat a swimsuit. The 56-year-old practically broke the internet in the suit when she posted similar photos of her directly in front of the sunset. “Every time I need to feel renewed I jump into the ocean 🌊,” she wrote. She also wore a gray version of the same two-piece with oversize sunglasses while lounging on another boat in June. And she rocked a Zimmermann patchwork set for National Bikini Day last month.

Besides her affinity for two-piece swimsuits, the mom of one has produced other noteworthy style moments. Hayek rang in the start of summer with a black oversize sun hat with a dark-wash denim corset and jeans from Alexander McQueen, and she donned a Mary Katrantzou midi dress at a “Black Mirror” screening in New York on June 13. The actor’s daughter, Valentina Pinault, has also adopted outfit repeating, as she proudly wore her mom’s old Isaac Mizrahi dress for the Oscars in March as the two hit the red carpet together.
