Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran don’t need 19th-century diamonds and lace to make an entrance. On Tuesday, the onscreen sisters arrived at the “Bridgerton ” season two world premiere in London in black and white looks that were anything but boring.
Ashley strutted down the red carpet in a pair of patent leather sandals and Look 13 from Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection. The two-piece dress featured a sheer, floral skirt in black with a pleated hem and black shorts underneath. The dramatic neckline of her white crop top flared out into a miniature cape, drawing our eyes to her full-coverage lace gloves and matching fishnet tights.
Chandran kept a similar color palette going in a polka-dot Carolina Herrera gown adorned in a bright red floral pattern. The sleeveless dress featured a ruffled bodice and statement sleeves that fluttered out into a massive train. Chandran tied the look together with a cherry-red lip and Christian Louboutin Loubiloo sandals in black.
