If you’re getting married soon, first of all, congratulations! It’s such an exciting time, and one of the best parts of the whole experience is finding your dream dress. Or, at least, it is in theory. We’ve heard far too many stories of brides who arrive at a bridal store or atelier brimming with excitement only to leave demoralized about the fit and cost of their dream dresses. Plus, once you pick a dress, normally months or even years ahead of your wedding date, you’re locked in. There’s no real option to change your mind unless you’re comfortable with buying an entirely new outfit. That’s where Eloquii comes in.

The brand has released a new collection of bridal looks in sizes 14 through 28. Every single piece is under $900, and you can shop, and try on, from the comfort of your own home. If you don’t like something, you can return it with tags, and Eloquii has thought of every possible event, from a structured ballgown for a big ceremony to a cool pantsuit for a courthouse wedding or even an afterparty as well as pink and floral looks you could wear for your bachelorette party, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or even your big day; there are no rules anymore. We spoke with creative director Yesenia Torres about her vision for the collection and why she thinks this is such a game changer for bridal fashion.

When talking about the ethos of the 50-piece collection, Torres points to its range, both in style and sizing. “[It has] some really beautiful classics with a twist and then some really spectacular pieces that you really can’t find anywhere else in this size range but you would be able to find if you shopped at a higher end store for straight sizes.”

The line really runs the gamut, with some spectacular, classic white dresses and others that are floral, or even pink. “As a brand, we’re known for color and print, so it would only make sense that we had that in the collection. The touch of pink is a secret homage to the customer; pink is one of the best-selling colors in the brand,” Torres notes.

Filled with pantsuits, minidresses, and two-piece sets, this is a collection you could wear for every single wedding-related event, including if you’re a bridesmaid or just a guest!

“I think and I hope it will change the conversation and the anxiety of finding your perfect wedding dress. Now you have this opportunity to have this bridal preview at your house.”

One of the most impressive aspects of this collection is the price; everything’s under $900, which is almost unheard of in the bridal market. “You can still have incredible fit and quality at an affordable price point. We really did some magic with these $900 gowns. There are couture details inside these gowns, there’s boning, there’s extra bustiers. We’ve also thought about alterations so there’s extra yardage on the side seams and extra length in the hems so it can be tailored for you, and the customer can have that true bridal experience,” says Torres.

It’s important to acknowledge the magnitude of the buying structure of this collection. For people of all sizes, finding a wedding dress can feel mentally and emotionally taxing, and with this collection, you buy online and try on from the comfort of your own home. “So much of the plus experience is the psychological experience of not being able to shop something because they don’t have your size . . . I think and I hope it will change the conversation and the anxiety of finding your perfect wedding dress. Now you have this opportunity to have this bridal preview at your house,” Torres notes.

The entire collection is on sale at Eloquii right now, and these are our 17 favorite pieces.
