SNL Hosts An It Girl Thanksgiving Special With Charli XCX!
Pass the spinach and La Mer! SNL celebrated Thanksgiving early with host Charli XCX, parodying Thanksgiving specials with an “It Girl Thanksgiving” special. Marc Jacobs (Bowen Yang) and Julia Fox (Chloe Fineman) served—literally!—as masters of ceremony for the nonchalant affair, where dinner became a runway akin to XCX’s “360” music video. Dinner guests included Victoria Beckham (XCX), Naomi Campbell (Ego Nwodim), Rachel Sennott (Sarah Sherman), Law Roach (Kenan Thompson), and the Olsen twins, while Cher (Heidi Gardner) had the special task of cooking the turkey! Lancôme has found its latest global brand ambassador in Olivia Rodrigo. The young star is the newest face of the global beauty company, whose additional celeb ambassadors include Emma Chamberlain, Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, and Amanda Seyfried. The role is the latest in Rodrigo’s successful career, which she’s transformed from being a Disney Channel star to becoming a Grammy Award-winning musician. Lancôme revealed in a statement that Rodrigo was chosen for her “striking personality and immense talent,” as well as her authentically personal storytelling. Plus, she’s already gotten the ball rolling with her first campaign, to boot!

Thom Browne Shares His Love Of Shorts, Escaping Bankruptcy, & More With Alina Cho
On Friday night, Thom Browne sat down for Alina Cho‘s latest live discussion in her “The Atelier With Alina Cho” series. Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the designer shared stories from throughout his career—including his penchant for wearing shorts, designing custom looks for the Met Gala, and narrowly avoiding bankruptcy in his label’s early days. During the chat, we also learned that Browne will open his next store in the UES in March 2025 (keeping our eyes open for our invite!) and considers partner Andrew Bolton to be “the most important person in fashion.” Aw! Plus, Cho revealed her next surprise onstage chat will be held in 2025!
