Jeremy Renner is recovering from surgery following a snowplowing accident in Nevada on New Year’s Day. A spokesperson for the 51-year-old actor confirmed to CNN that Renner suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and was in the intensive care unit in “critical but stable condition” as of Monday evening. While reps for Renner did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment, according to CNN, the Avengers star has undergone two surgeries so far.
Renner gave fans an update on his condition on Tuesday, posting a photo from his hospital bed on Instagram. “Thank you all for your kind words. 🙏,” he captioned it. “Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”
Renner was hospitalized on Sunday morning after the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt.
