Russell Brand’s absolutely hilarious tweet about his ex-wife Katy Perry‘s latest trip to space is flooding the internet now-a-days. He mixed up a naughtiness in a congratulatory tweet for Perry’s return from space along with a self-deprecating comment on their past relationship, and that tweet is posted by this comedian and actor.

The tweet reads: ‘Katy Perry has gone to space, and I am elated she’s accomplished such a feat and made it back safely. She actually bought me a ticket to space once; I should have seen the writing on the wall then! 😂’

Immediately following that tweet, Brand’s tongue-in-cheek barbs at their failed marriage sparked off a range of responses. Some laughed along at the irony, while still others took the opportunity to roast both celebs.

Not everyone was, however, impressed with Perry’s trip to space. VomitRomney noted, bro, she went on an amusement park to have a 12-minute ride for rich people. Let us stop pretending like she changed the world; this resonates with lots of critics of celebrity space tourism.

Some users appeared perhaps more confused than anything. One, in fact, taught, ‘Please forgive my ignorance, but who is Katy Perry?’- which means either living under a rock or really trolling.
