JENNIE has scored another streaming hit with her unexpected collaboration on Tame Impala’s “Dracula” remix, which just re-peaked at number eight on Global Spotify charts. The track pulled in 4.103 million streams while climbing three spots from its previous chart position.
The collaboration between the BLACKPINK member and Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala represents one of the year’s most intriguing musical partnerships. When artists from completely different genres team up, it’s always a gamble – but this one’s clearly paying off for both sides.
JENNIE’s vocals bring a fresh energy to Tame Impala’s signature dreamy soundscape. The original “Dracula” already had that hypnotic quality Kevin Parker is known for, but adding JENNIE’s distinctive voice creates something that feels both familiar and totally new. It’s the kind of remix that makes you wonder why more artists don’t take these kinds of creative risks.
The streaming numbers tell the story of how well this cross-pollination is working. Over four million streams in a single tracking period is serious business, especially for a remix. The fact that it’s climbing rather than dropping suggests listeners are discovering it organically and coming back for more.
For JENNIE, this continues her streak of successful solo ventures outside BLACKPINK. She’s been selective about her collaborations, which makes this partnership with Tame Impala feel even more intentional. The Australian band isn’t exactly K-pop territory, but that’s probably what makes it work so well.
Tame Impala’s fan base skews toward indie rock and psychedelic music lovers, while JENNIE brings her massive K-pop following. When you combine those audiences, you get the kind of streaming power we’re seeing on the charts right now. It’s a perfect example of how strategic collaborations can expand an artist’s reach without compromising their sound.
The remix itself transforms the original track into something that bridges two musical worlds. JENNIE’s vocals float over Parker’s production in a way that enhances both artists’ strengths. She doesn’t try to completely reimagine the song – instead, she finds her place within its existing framework and elevates it.
Streaming platforms love this kind of crossover appeal because it keeps listeners engaged across different genres. When a K-pop star and a psych-rock band can create something that resonates with both fan bases, it’s a win for everyone involved. The algorithm definitely seems to be picking up on that momentum.
This chart performance also highlights how remix culture continues to evolve. It’s not just about adding a guest verse anymore – successful remixes like this one create genuine musical dialogue between artists. JENNIE and Tame Impala didn’t just swap features; they created something that feels like a true collaboration.
As both artists continue their respective projects, this remix stands as proof that the best collaborations happen when artists step outside their comfort zones. The streaming numbers and chart movement suggest fans are hungry for more of these unexpected musical conversations.
With over four million streams and climbing, “Dracula – JENNIE Remix” is definitely one to keep watching on the charts. It’s the kind of collaboration that reminds you why music discovery is so exciting – sometimes the best sounds come from the most surprising places.
