Kim Kardashian is in Paris for Mens Fashion Week in one of her most noteworthy looks yet. She attended the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring 2024 show wearing nothing but a sports bra and leggings — but it’s her print that really grabbed our attention. The checkered print almost felt like a digitized optical illusion, with gradient color ranging from green to dark gray. Kardashian’s bra and leggings matched her fanny pack, and she completed her look with an oversized textured coat and PVC-strap sandals.
The Louis Vuitton Mens Spring 2024 front row was full of star power, with Zendaya, Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, Beyoncé, and Jay Z also in attendance. The A-list crew came out to support Pharrell Williams, who was recently named as the creative director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear line, following the untimely passing of Virgil Abloh. Though Williams has fielded quite a lot of criticism about his new appointment, with many arguing that he doesn’t have enough design education or experience to qualify for the job, he believes his perceived outsider status gives him an edge. “I am a creative designer from the perspective of the consumer,” he told The New York Times. “I didn’t go to Central Saint Martins. But I definitely went in the stores and purchased, and I know what I like.
For his initial campaign, Williams dropped an image of none other than Rihanna — his longtime collaborator and friend — dressed in an oversize menswear button-down shirt with her baby bump on full display. In the photo shoot, she clutches the famed Louis Vuitton Speedy bags in multiple colorways: primary hues of red, yellow, green, and blue. “LOUIS VUITTON MEN Spring-Summer 2024,” Pharrell captioned the photo, which garnered several positive comments from fans and supporters.
