Kroy Biermann Jr. has been granted bond following a serious court hearing in Georgia — but the conditions attached to his release are anything but simple.
According to the outcome of the highly controversial bond hearing, first reported by TMZ and others on Friday, the 15-year-old’s bond allowing him to leave custody was ultimately set by a judge at a whopping $200,000. The judge also ordered Kroy Jr. to live full-time with his mother, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak.
He must also attend school online, surrender access to social media and a cell phone, wear an electronic monitoring device, and have no contact with anyone age 16 or younger. That last condition could have a particularly profound impact on the teenager, as it reportedly includes his own siblings, friends, and classmates, per the media outlet.

During Friday’s hearing, prosecutors discussed how they would monitor Kroy Jr.’s compliance, including home visits and checks on his academic progress. They also emphasized that he should not be moving between different homes and instead would remain with his reality TV veteran mother, who would be responsible for monitoring him, and not with dad Kroy Biermann.
Kroy Jr.’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, reportedly told the court during the hearing that KJ’s family simply wants him home and is prepared to follow whatever requirements are necessary to make that happen.
Sheffield also argued that details emerging from a separate juvenile case had been distorted, characterizing that alleged conduct in videos as “boundary crossing” and horseplay instead of a criminal act. As we’ve been reporting on Friday, that juvenile allegation involve claims that videos found on Kroy Jr.’s phone depicted sexual conduct involving an underage relative.
But again, Friday’s hearing was reportedly focused on a separate alleged sexual assault involving a classmate that allegedly occurred in April — and not the prior case involving the videos, which had previously been adjudicated in juvenile court last year.
For the time being at least, the bond hearing has officially been decided. And now, Kroy Jr. is facing an extraordinary set of restrictions while the legal process continues…
