Lidl have launched a special Oasis jacket ahead of the band’s UK tour.
The limited edition ‘Lidl By Lidl’ coat named after the band’s 2002 ‘Heathen Chemistry’ single ‘Little By Little’ features “drink-cooling pockets, a bottle opener for a zipper, a ‘Lidl By Lidl’ badge and an accompanying tambourine”, according to press release.
It was unveiled on a 30ft wall just outside Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium this morning (July 2) and is available to buy for £30 from 10am BST next Wednesday (July 9) here. All profits will go to the NSPCC.
It comes after Liam Gallagher wore a Berghaus jacket which fans joked were similar to Lidl’s colours when he launched the brand’s ‘ICONS’ campaign last year.

“My first encounter with Berghaus was through my brother Noel. He purchased a green one in the late ‘80s and I was always pinching it off him,” Gallagher said in a statement at the time.
“They were all the rage and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of my own. I thought to myself ‘When I’m rich and famous I’m getting myself one.’ I finally did that and I’ve still got it to this day. To be asked to work with them on their comeback means a lot.”
As for the ‘Lidl By Lidl’ jacket, those who miss out on getting their hands on one, will be able to get a branded bucket hat or a pair of Lidl aviators, available on their website for free.
Joanna Gomer, Marketing Director at Lidl GB said of the new jacket: “In celebration of one of the biggest reunion tours for music & culture, we wanted to give consumers ‘everything they ever dreamed of’ and create something iconic.”

The ‘Lidl by Lidl’ jacket is more than just merch – it’s a tribute to our fans, the moments, and the memories that have defined the last three decades.”
Elsewhere, a blue plaque was installed at a Lidl supermarket in Manchester, commemorating the gig that Liam Gallagher “almost” played there last year.
At the the time, he joked that if his show at the city’s Co-Op Live Arena wasn’t “sorted” in time, then he would have to play at Lidl instead.
It came after the Manchester venue was going through a torrid series of complications and delays as it was trying to open its doors.

Meanwhile, Oasis announced a special 30th anniversary reissue of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ and shared a new unplugged version of ‘Acquiesce’ earlier today (July 2) ahead of of their ‘Live ’25’ dates, which kick off this Friday (July 4) at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The band have also launched the Oasis ‘Live ‘25’ Map Experience an immersive and interactive location-based platform that brings the band’s legacy to life across all cities of the tour.
Their Cardiff gig this week is the first of 19 shows in the UK and Ireland, with support acts Richard Ashcroft and Cast.
Ahead of the shows kicking off, Liam recently revealed that the opening show in Cardiff will have a start time of 8:15pm, telling fans: “Don’t be late or we’ll start without you and you don’t want that now do ya”. Yesterday, doors and stage times for the opening acts were revealed on social media.
Preparations are well underway, and on Monday (June 30), footage of Oasis allegedly soundchecking within the Principality Stadium was also shared online. If you’re heading down to the show, you can also check out the weather forecast here.
Oasis’ UK and Ireland run includes seven dates at London’s Wembley Stadium, and will be followed by gigs in Canada, the US and Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. The 2025 tour consists of 41 dates in total, ending on November 23 in São Paulo.
Yesterday (July 1), the band also announced a new football shirt ahead of their UK tour.
