Madonna and Lourdes Leon’s Matching Outfits at Tom Ford Show

Madonna and Lourdes Leon turned New York Fashion Week into a family affair. The mother-daughter duo sat front row at Tom Ford’s spring 2023 runway show on Sept. 14 and wore coordinating outfits. Madonna styled a silky black two-piece set with fingerless leather gloves and a lacy lingerie-style bodysuit, while Leon wore a shimmery ankle-length tank dress, a cross-pendant necklace, and strappy sandals. They were joined by Madonna’s 22-year-old son, Rocco Ritchie, who was clad in a purple velvet suit, a silk button-down, and sunglasses that matched his mom’s.

Madonna sat between the eldest of her six children at Skylight on Vesey as the Hadid sisters and more models presented a sequin-dripping collection filled with cutout dresses, tiny bralette tops, and oversize jackets. Other stars in attendance included Lori Harvey, who went shirtless in a suede olive-green blazer; Ciara, who commanded attention in an all-red ensemble; and Conan Gray, who wore a plunging gold top and cheetah-print pants.

Leon is no stranger to Fashion Week, making her catwalk debut for Gypsy Sport’s NYFW show in 2018 when she was 21 years old. Since then, she’s walked the runway for Versace, Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty brand, and Marine Serre and sat in the front row at countless other presentations.

While discussing her modeling career with Interview magazine last year, Leon said: “I want to create a world in which models have more agency over what they’re doing, and they’re not just silent clothing racks. That’s the age that we’re coming into in the fashion world: models as personalities and artists.”

See photos of Madonna and her kids’ stylish NYFW outing ahead, then catch up on all the best street style looks from the week.
