Fa-la-la! On Tuesday night, MCM checked into The Standard High Line to unveil their new MCM x The Standard Christmas Tree—naturally, with a crew of chicsters in tow.
The festivities began with a private cocktail hour in the whimsical The Shop at The Standard. Amidst talk of holiday plans and winter half-marathons, guests sipped champagne while admiring the gift shop’s wares—including a selection of MCM accessories and ready-to-wear, all available to shop through January 2025. Of course, the aforementioned tree was front and center, bedecked with shiny silver and gold ornaments, mini rockets, and star baubles themed after the brand’s “Munich to Mars” Fall 2024 collection. We also spotted plenty of MCM boxes from Santa under the tree! None of them were addressed to The Daily Front Row, but it’s still early…plus, we know we’re on the nice list this year!

Just after the clock struck 7pm, everyone was ushered to The Standard Grill for an intimate sit-down dinner. Chic leather place mats and napkin rings were revamped with the brand’s signature Visetos monogram. The same print also covered guests’ MCM handbags and outfits, plus a major VIP—the label’s adorable Park dachshund doll, which everyone snapped photos with! As candlelight flickered between ornate red floral arrangements, attendees enjoyed Caesar salads and seasonal soups, followed by main courses of steak frites, winter squash risotto, and salmon.

The night wrapped with dirty gin and vodka martini toasts over a sweet assortment of pumpkin cheesecakes and chocolate chip cookies. As a festive parting gift, everyone left with chic leather MCM Dopp kits! Fashionable guests included Jessica Wang, Karina Bik, Caroline Vazzana, Kevin Ponce, Rashad Minnick, Sarika Rastogi, Alexa Losey, Salina Williams, Melissa Vale, Bach Mai, Kaye Bassey, Nate Katsuki, Fatou Fall, Matthew Mazur, Tama Gucci, Savannah White, Taylor Reed, Yana Khan, Victor Leonard, and Valentino Bonaccio.
