Met Gala Looks We Love Over The Years

Happy first Monday in May! As the biggest names in film, TV, music, sports, and theatre prepare to grace the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s soaring steps at this year’s Met Gala, we thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of our favorite looks Whether draped in couture inspired by exhibits rooted in American history, Catholicism, China, camp, or whatever else Anna Wintour and Andrew Bolton come up with, the celebrities in attendance always turn it out. Even when they’re not on theme, they still look fabulous. From Rihanna‘s viral Guo Pei robe to Lady Gaga‘s multiple dramatic Brandon Maxwell revelas— not to mention literally everything Zendaya has ever worn on those storied steps — these are the looks that still make our hearts skip a beat.
