The fate of Guy Ritchie’s new crime thriller series has finally been revealed. Featuring an all-star cast led by Oscar nominee Tom Hardy, the series has been a big hit for the streaming platform Paramount+, with the studio and streamer now confirming that we will get to see more from Hardy’s intrepid fixer.
That’s right, MobLand has now officially been renewed for a second season, with Paramount confirming the news and sharing several statements from the various creatives behind the crime thriller series, which follows Hardy as Harry Da Souza, a fixer for the infamous Harrigan family.
“TV was a brand new world for me and I was reluctant to commit to a TV overall, but Chris, David, and the teams at Paramount and 101 Studios, completely changed my perspective with their bold creative vision and razor-sharp strategic insight,” writer and executive producer Jez Butterworth said of the renewal. “Collaborating with Chris, David, Guy and our stellar cast has been nothing short of inspiring and I’m excited to dive into the second season of ‘MobLand.’”
