Haim appear to be teasing their long awaited comeback and a new single.
The trio posted a solitary Instagram post with images of Danielle Haim celebrating her 36th birthday party in New York last night (February 13) with the caption: “(ha)i’m single.. haim single?”
While the caption initially seems to suggest that she is currently single, the band later posted an Instagram story, in which all three members can be seen dancing to M83‘s hit single ‘Midnight City’ with a voiceover saying: “We are back baby, we are fucking back,” further suggesting that their comeback is on the cards.
No further details were shared but if new music is on the way, it will be their first since their 2023 single ‘Home‘ which featured on the Barbie soundtrack.

That year they also celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut album ‘Days Are Gone‘, which saw them perform a massive London headline show at All Points East, which NME said in a five-star review was a “return” to their “spiritual home”, with the band having credited the English capital and the UK as “the first place to ever embrace us so we actually call this home”.
They also reflected on 10 years of ‘Days Are Gone’ with NME, sharing that the record “completely changed our lives”.
When asked about their future plans at the time, the trio also shared that they had “been working with some cool people”. “We played Jai Paul earlier; we might’ve been in the studio with him,” they teased. The band added that they “may or may not have been in the studio with him” and “cannot confirm or deny”.
Their last album ‘Women In Music Pt. III’ was released in the summer of 2020. The record was awarded five stars by NME was described as an “experimental and emotionally charged album” and “their best yet”.
It added: “By breaking from what the world might expect from them and letting themselves do whatever the hell they want, they have produced a record that’s experimental, soothing and vulnerable; it’s a thing of great beauty.”
