Between its killer soundtrack and quietly revolutionary LGBTQ+ representation, Heartstopper has become one of Netflix’s most popular shows in recent years.
Based on the graphic novels by Alice Oseman, the romantic comedy-drama follows teenager Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) as he navigates his sexuality and falls in love with his sporty classmate Nick Nelson (Kit Connor).
Other cast members include William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Sebastian Croft, and Olivia Colman.
After the first season debuted in April 2022 to critical and commercial success, Netflix renewed the show for an additional two seasons.

The show’s score is by Adiescar Chase, who also created the soundtrack for the first two seasons. Her other credits include BBC series Waterloo Road and Channel 4’s Consent.
