Listen to Mr. Milchick’s marching band banger from ‘Severance’ season two finale

Mr. Milchick’s marching band song from the final episode of Severance season two has been shared.

The track, which is called ‘The Ballad Of Ambrose And Gunnel’, saw the character played by Tramell Tillman, act as a drum major stylishly fronting Lumon’s Choreography & Merriment players to commemorate a major milestone in the Macrodata Refinement department. You can listen to it below.

The song is one of 18 that appears on the ‘Severance: Season 2 Apple TV+ Original Series Soundtrack’, which is composed by Theodore Shapiro who is responsible for the drama’s eerie title track.

It comes after Tillman recently recreated his marching band performance at PaleyFest 2025.

The actor led members of the University of Southern California marching band in a surprise performance at a live Q&A panel event at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, just hours after the show premiered its season 2 finale.

What I love most about SEVERANCE is that it is technically a sci-fi show but embraces weirdness in such an idiosyncratic way to deliver truly unique moments like this. Also, give Tramell Tillman all the awards. That dude is one hell of a performer.

The show’s second season ended with a bang as Mark (Adam Scott) made an emotional choice in the season’s final episode, Cold Harbour.

It prompted devastated reactions from viewers, who posted “God the tragedy of it all” and called the series finale a “masterpiece”.

Meanwhile, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, recently announced, that Severance had been renewed for a third season.

In a five star review of season two, NME said: “As things get all the more intriguing by the minute, Severance is a show best watched on high alert. Enjoy the ride and let this unique show tease and titillate your brain until you finally submit.”

Elsewhere, Apple created a real-life version of the Mac computer used in Severance earlier this week.

Designed to look exactly like the computers that characters Mark (Adam Scott), Helly (Britt Lower) and Dylan (Zach Cherry) use in the drama, it features with a black rollerball wheel, clacky blue keyboard and retro-style monitor, complete with a ‘Praise Kier’ message on screen.

The Lumon Terminal Pro is not available for purchase – but the product page does have a link to a brand new ‘Behind the Mac’ featurette video, which demonstrates how director Ben Stiller and lead editor Geoffrey Richman edited the second season entirely on MacBooks.
