Olivia Rodrigo Dedicates Performance of “F-ck You” to Supreme Court Justices

Talk about not holding back!

On Saturday, Olivia Rodrigo took the stage at the United Kingdom’s Glastonbury Festival — alongside friend and guest star Lily Allen — to send a message to five Supreme Court justices in the wake of Roe v. Wade getting overturned late last week.

As you must have heard by now, abortion rights are no longer protected in America by the federal government.

Not after Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh determined on Friday that the previous law was unconstitutional.

Prior to performing a rendition of Allen’s track “F-ck You,” Rodrigo name-checked these judges by name.

“I’m devastated and terrified,” the 19-year old told those in attendance, responding to the Court’s landmark decision.

“So many women and so many girls are going to die because of this.

“I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don’t give a s— about freedom.”

Added the wildly popular artist:

The song is for the justices: Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh.

We hate you! We hate you.

This appearance marked the superstar’s first time performing at the aforementioned festival.

Among the lyrics in British singer’s 2009 hit?

F-ck you, f-ck you very, very much / ’Cause we hate what you do / And we hate your whole crew.

Rodrigo also told the crowd:

“This is actually my first Glastonbury and I’m sharing this stage with Lily, this is the biggest dream come true ever.

“But I’m also equally as heartbroken about what happened in America yesterday.”

Following the Roe v. Wade decision, an endless array of celebrities spoke out in shock and anger, mostly using social media as the platform to express their rage.

Taylor Swift, for example, told followers she’s “absolutely terrified that this is where we are…

“That after so many decades of people fighting for women’s rights to their own bodies, today’s decision has stripped us of that.”

Elsewhere, a number of stars have even opened up about their personal experiences in this personal area.

Last month, after a leaked opinion went public that made it clear the Supreme Court was headed in this direction, Phoebe Bridgers wrote about her own abortion via Twitter.

“I had an abortion in October of last year while I was on tour,” she wrote at the time.

“I went to Planned Parenthood where they gave me the abortion pill. It was easy. Everyone deserves that kind of access.”
